It's so weird, though (how peoples opinions change). When we were all little kids, nobody in their right mind would complain about the snow. Now, snow is more of a hinderance than anything...

Getting sick when you are aging really is annoying. Mrs Dood always tells me: "Three days coming...Three days staying...Three days going." That is about right when it comes to getting sick. Fortunately for us she can get Z-Paks (Antibiotic) from the Drug reps that come in to their office. It really saves you the annoyance of having to call your Doctor, get an appointment, get in, just to get a antibiotic.
You have to becareful though. When you first get sick it is usually a viral infection(antibiotics will not work). Later on in the sickness it usually turns in to a bio-infection...then they work. Always wait until your phlem turns color.
Gross...but true.

Jeeze, this weather is having psychodic effects on people's health. My Wittle Baby Wea is sufferin' bad. He heard is about to pop.. She was screaming just a minute ago, but now is starting to feel a little better. Some sort of extreme migrain from the high pressure of the snow.. Poor thing. I've given her some green tea and IBPROFFEN, so she should be okay.. And I managed to clean the puke out of the car -.-

Having all-to-frequent first hand experience with migraines, Ibuprofen doesn't do shit. In my experience, not even most prescription drugs do anything but tighten up the muscles in your forehead and neck (which is only more bothersome). Sleep is just about the only thing I've discovered does a damn thing---if you can manage to reach your bed, before you black out on the floor, or collapse on the stairs.
I love winter, though. My favorite season most definately. I enjoy the look and feel of it, snow, dead trees, cold, calm, and windy days. Looks wonderful in PieXags' opinion.

Oh, I agree - it's just if this is gonna keep happening to my Wea, I'm not going to stay in Beantown this season.

Allot of people do not realize that Ibuprofen is not a pain killer. It is a NSAID. It reduces inflamation (blood vessles) and that reduces pain. I take vicodin for my back (recently diagnosed with a herniated disk) that works wonders on my back....however, it can give me throbbing headaches.

It's a blood thinner - that's why I gave it to her. If it's a miagrain, it's swollen blood vessels on the brain. I figure if her blood could thin out a lil bit, it'll reduce the swelling. The tea'll also help clean up her nose and will calm her stomach.

Well we swear by Advil Cold & Sinus caps. They have Sudafed in them. They do not make you drowsey. One pill of that is equal to one 200mg Advil(Ibuprofen). So I will take 1 or 2 of those and maybe 2 more regular Advils. A total of 800mgs. I have prescription to Ibuprofen and they are 800Mg pills. So taking up to 4 Advils is the same thing. I have taken Advil Cold & Sinus pills when I even had the Flu and they helped allot...I could actually do stuff....like stand up.

Dually noted. Once I can.. You know.. DRIVE out of my driveway (It was okay 10 minutes ago. Now it's just snow again) I'll be on my way to CVS. I don't want her to be in pain so I'll do whatever I can.

I never thought about that. Might be true... (Making sure Wea wears the Hello Kitty Earmuffs next time.)

Yeah, my favorite part is we we get less than an inch of accumulation and the whole city shuts down. The news has been reporting ARCTIC BLAST for two days straight and running a constant ticker of what's shut down all the while reporting the massive amounts of car wrecks.
I know ice is nothing to play with on the roads. It just amuses me that we see 3 feet of snow in the Rockies with people driving to work like it was any other day and we get a little sleet and suddenly we can't function.
Then again, I'm from the Deep South and would probably cry like a baby if I had to deal with real snow.

alot of people got in trouble at school today for sliding on the ice
and we had a pipe in the hallway make the floor leak (probably has to do with the cold)
